It can't get much better: Termignoni Exhaust Y099 Full Black for Yamaha T-Max 530cc (2012 - 2016).
It is almost impossible to conceive of a greater looking exhaust for the T-Max. The Y099, here with stainless steel deep black header pipe and carbon silencer with carbon end cap, underlines the powerful lines of the Yamaha T-Max. The exhaust system looks classy and modern at the same time, with top quality materials and flawless manufacturing adding to the high-end look.
This exhaust system offers improved performance towards the stock exhaust. The use of high-quality lightweight materials allows for significant weight reduction (- 4.0 kg), and less weight translates into improved handling. Performance across the entire rpm range is boosted. The gain at the rear wheel is approxim. 3hp (without dB-killer, with dB-killer a little less), top speed is increased by approx. 10km/h, and torque, especially at low to mid rpm, is considerably improved to benefit acceleration and responsiveness.
Last but not least there is the sound: deep and bassy, just what your maxi scooter needs! Installation is simple plug & play; and the exhaust system has CE-approval.

The exhaust has a major influence on the performance of scooters and mopeds. By replacing the original with a tuning exhaust, you can improve the gas flow and increase the engine power.

- The headpipe or header is the connection between cylinder and exhaust, and an exhaust gasket provides the necessary seal. In street-legal systems, the headpipe is equipped with a legally required restriction. Some people remove this restrictor to increase power.
- The actual exhaust body or expansion chamber is connected to the header pipe. In a classic 2-stroke expansion chamber type exhaust, gas pressure waves are used to improve engine performance.
- At the end there us the silencer or muffler that discharges the exhaust gases and, with the help of damping wool, also reduces the noise generated by the vehicle.
Replacing the exhaust
