Description
High quality Stroboscopic Gun / Timing Light from BGS. Timing lights are indispensable tools for adjusting / advancing ignition timing. Correct ignition timing is essential to get the maximum performance out of tuned engines, especially if you have an internal rotor ignition. Also recommended for engines where the original markings are no longer legible or not present at all.
- electronic angle adjustment allows precise flash of the markers
- especially suitable for engines that have no angle mark on the pulley
- further measurements are possible over the easy-to-read 7-segment display:
- dwell at 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8-cylinder engines
- voltage and power loss test
- engine speed
- also used for testing the start of diesel injection
- signal is picked up by a piezoelectric transducer to be mounted on the diesel line
- firing angle: 0 to 60°
- drive speed: 200 to 9990 rpm
- dwell: 0 - 99.9%
