Description
Top Performances rubber adapter for Top Performances intake manifold (or any other manifold). Suitable for Mikuni TM24 carburetors or any other carburetor with 31mm outer diameter connection. Two clamps are included.
Intake manifold rubber
The intake rubber is a relatively simple product, but nevertheless very important for the function of the intake and carburetor. It must seal 100% to ensure optimum engine performance.
It connects the metal intake manifold to the carburetor, in carburetors with intake rubber assembly. On 4-stroke engines, the intake manifold is often just a simple intake sleeve; on 2-stroke engines, the intake manifold itself is often flexible so that the carburetor can be attached directly to it.
In some cases, the rubber flange serves as a kind of adapter to change the type of mounting and allow the use of a different type of carburetor (e.g. Peugeot Speedfight).
