Transmission fluid MOTUL SCOOTER GEAR 85W-140
Motul Scooter Gear 85W-140 is a high-performance mineral oil specifically developed for the demanding operating conditions of transmissions in scooters and mopeds. The compact bottle is easy to carry on the vehicle and allows for clean and uncomplicated refilling.
Strong protection in city traffic
This oil is characterized by high lubrication performance and is designed to handle stop-and-go city traffic with frequent starting and braking at full power. With a hot viscosity of 140, it offers very high oil film stability. This ensures good wear protection and can also help reduce mechanical transmission noise.
The formulation contains extreme pressure additives that protect gears at high speeds and during potential shocks or rear wheel lock-ups, extending the service life of the system. Additionally, it features excellent anti-corrosion and anti-foam properties to keep the mechanism in good condition.
Compatibility and applications
It is suitable for any transmission requiring SAE 85W-140 viscosity and is particularly recommended for SYM scooter transmissions as well as for Moto Guzzi final drives.
