Engine and Transmission Housings for Scooters: Essential, Functional, High-Performance
The primary function of cases, covers and housings is to enclose and protect the key components and the oil required for engine operation. Some important parts do not run in an oil bath but must still be protected from external influences. These are therefore covered by appropriate covers.
Crankcase
In our online shop, you will find various types of crankcases for scooters.
For repairs or restorations according to manufacturer specifications, we offer standard crankcases for the most popular models on the market (Yamaha Aerox, Piaggio Zip, Peugeot Kisbee, etc.). We stock both 100% original OEM parts and affordable aftermarket versions in OEM quality.
For those active in racing and looking to tune their engine for the track, we also offer numerous racing crankcases from top brands such as Malossi RC-One, 8.1 Fireblade, Top Performance TPR and 2Fast.
gearbox and CVT Covers
In many cases, a complete crankcase is not required, as there are other covers available.
The variator cover is usually replaced for two reasons: either for an original-style restoration or to improve variator cooling. Some riders also replace it simply for a custom tuning look.
The gearbox cover is replaced when damaged or to enhance performance, for example through improved bearings, materials with better heat dissipation, or additional reinforcements.
We offer products from manufacturers such as Stage6 R/T, STR8, Polini, Malossi, Top Performance, as well as many original spare parts.
Other Covers
If you want to enhance your scooter's look or give it a like-new appearance, we also stock additional housings and covers: ignition covers, water and oil pump covers, cylinder shrouds, and more. We carry many well-known brands (STR8, Easyboost, Malossi, Yamaha...) for Piaggio and Minarelli engines, as well as less common models such as Peugeot or Kymco.
Both tuning parts and OEM components are available.
Pro Tips
Please note that replacing some parts requires special tools (e.g. for pressing bearings in or out), which we also offer in our shop.
Clean each part thoroughly using a good degreaser.
Also make sure to get new gaskets and, if necessary, sealant. You don’t want to take everything apart again just because you saved on a small gasket, right?
Finally, use high-quality fluids (oil, coolant) to optimally protect the components you have just installed.
