Performance Upgrade with Unrestricted CDI
Stage6 is heavily involved in motorsport and knows that mechanical failures and electronic issues are part of the risks in racing. For example, the CDI on your PVL ignition can fail. That’s why Stage6 offers CDIs that directly replace the original unit. Just like spark plugs, these CDIs are essential spare parts you should always have on hand.
Most 50cc scooters and small motorcycles come restricted from the factory. Restrictions, whether in the CVT pulley or the exhaust, reduce engine performance and limit top speed. The CDI is an important part of this restriction.
If you want to boost your scooter’s performance, the stock CDI should be replaced. For many models like Speedfight and TKR, there are Stage6 unrestricted CDIs that provide more power, as the ignition timing is advanced, allowing the engine to reach higher RPM.
