Founded in 1988 by Jean Bidalot, the company was focused on racing from the very beginning. Since the 1990s, no fewer than 98 French championship titles have been won in various categories, including moped, scooter, motorcycle, and motocross. Bidalot is also, to this day, the only brand to have won a World Championship Grand Prix with a 100% French motorcycle, demonstrating the performance level of the Bidalot Compétition teams. Bidalot 70cc cylinder kits are among the best on the market, as is the case with all cylinders from the French manufacturer. Quality is the brand's top priority. Bidalot utilizes state-of-the-art technologies in cylinder production, works according to very strict specifications, and consistently rejects any component whose performance level is deemed insufficient. Furthermore, the aluminum used comes exclusively from primary smelting ingots, the best possible base for this type of component. The RF WR range, in both 70 cc and other displacements, is among the outstanding racing cylinders on the market.
As expected, these high-end category kits should be combined with components of a corresponding level. A suitable performance exhaust, a racing ignition, a larger carburetor, and a big valve reed block are required. For maximum reliability, a racing crankshaft is necessary. In addition, a reinforced clutch should be installed and the gearing adjusted, either via the variator or the gearbox, depending on the vehicle type.
