Some manufacturers continue to produce special parts for moped tuning, despite the dominance of scooters and 50cc geared mopeds. Polini is a big name in moped tuning, as is Malossi. Polini has focused particularly on the intake systems of old mopeds and has developed high-quality aluminium intake manifolds that optimize the parts that are often poorly made ex works.
