The exhaust is the best-selling accessory in the 50cc world. Often, the manufacturers' stock systems are replaced by models that improve engine performance. With its wide range, Yasuni offers sport models for daily use that provide good performance at a reasonable volume. The Yasuni Z is the entry-level model of the sport range and has been optimized to support operation in the low and mid-rev range. It is one of the most efficient exhausts on the market for original cylinders and 50cc sport cylinders. Its painted body consists of rolled and welded sheet steel and is complemented by an aluminum silencer. With the Yasuni Z, engine performance is optimized while simultaneously complying with legal regulations thanks to its street-legal status.
The Yasuni brand focuses primarily on developing new solutions for advanced exhaust systems. If you install a Yasuni Z instead of the stock exhaust, you should plan for some adjustments:
- Carburetor: install larger main jets.
- Variator: use lighter weights and harder clutch springs.
The reason? On one hand, reliability (with a jet that is too small, the risk of a piston seizure increases) and performance, and on the other hand, rideability: a resonance exhaust works significantly better in the mid and high rev range, but slightly weaker in the lower range, which must be compensated for by tuning the drivetrain.
