Yamaha Aerox 100 2-stroke

The Yamaha Aerox 100, model code YQ100, is the higher-displacement version of one of the most popular scooters of the 2000s. It was produced between 2000 and 2003 and was intended to combine the sporty design of the Yamaha Aerox 50cc with noticeably more power, ideal for the demands of everyday use. Technically, it is almost identical to the MBK Nitro 100, as both were built on the same production line at MBK’s factory in France, differing mainly in branding and color schemes.

What makes the 100cc version special? Unlike the 50cc model, this version is air-cooled. This technical decision leads to a simpler, lighter, and more reliable setup, as there is no radiator or water pump. as it eliminates components such as a radiator and water pump. The larger displacement delivers higher torque, providing much stronger pull off the line and improved acceleration.
