Yamaha Chappy
The Yamaha Chappy, officially Yamaha LB 50, is a 50cc mini-bike (also available as an 80cc and later as a 125cc) for adults and is primarily intended for urban traffic. This ultra-compact two-wheeler came onto the market in 1973 as competition for the famous Honda Dax.
Unlike its direct competitor, the Chappy had a 2-stroke engine and an automatic transmission with centrifugal clutch. The Yamaha Chappy is an uncomplicated city cruiser, its handling is really easy.
The performance is not necessarily outstanding, but the small bike scores with simple operation, an affordable price and, of course, its charming, compact look.
