This model is powered by a horizontal Minarelli engine (8 MY), a 2-stroke single-cylinder that does not require a radiator or water pump, which simplifies standard maintenance work. Fuel is supplied via a 12 mm carburetor (such as the Dell'Orto PHVA 12 HS) and it is equipped with an automatic oil injection / auto-lube system. The automatic transmission with variator and V-belt provides lively, continuous acceleration without jerking.
