The Vespa LX is the successor of the Vespa ET, it also has the same engine The 50cc models were initially equipped with an air-cooled 2-stroke engine, later a model with Hi Per 4-stroke engine was added. The Vespa LX was built from 2006 to 2014 and is part of the Modern Vespa group, where modern technology was combined with the typical vintage Vespa look with lots of chrome and round curves. The scooter with its rather narrow wheelbase and practical automatic transmission is very agile and manoeuvrable and therefore perfect for city traffic, but can also be used for short distances. The Vespa S looks a bit sportier than the base model of the LX, but is equipped with the same technology.
