The Vespa Primavera is one of the Vespa Smallframe models and thanks to its lively driving performance quickly became a bestseller. Born in 1967, the Primavera was available from 1976 onwards and also in a more powerful sports version ET3 (with 3 transfer ports) with banana exhaust; after a long break in production, Piaggio decided to bring it back. In terms of design, it remains true to the classic-nostalgic Vespa style with lots of chrome and elegant retro details, but technically it was thoroughly overhauled, upgraded and modernized: automatic transmission instead of manual transmission, environmentally friendly 4-stroke instead of loud and dirty 2-stroke and, since recently, also available with 4-stroke i-Get engine (with efficient electronic injection). Besides the traditional 50cc models, the Primavera is also produced as a 125cc and 150cc scooter.
