Pegasus Sky 50 AC - General information

The scooter known as the Pegasus Sky was originally called the TGB RFC-5Y. The manufacturer, TGB (Taiwan Golden Bee), is a long-established company from Taiwan. The model came to Germany in the early 90s. It is similar to the Piaggio TPH and is a robust and reliable city scooter. Its dry weight is 80 kg and the tank has a volume of approx. 6 liters.

Pegasus Sky 50cc AC - Engine

The Pegasus Sky 50 AC comes off the production line with just under 3 hp and is an inexpensive alternative to the standard scooter models. It is equipped with an air-cooled two-stroke single-cylinder engine. The Sky's engine is a modified licensed version of the less common Morini engine. The displacement is 50cc. It is started electrically or by kickstarter. The mixture is prepared via a carburetor.

The rear wheel suspension is a hydraulic shock absorber that effectively compensates for any unevenness. The brake system consists of a drum brake at the front and rear.
