From 2018, with the introduction of the Euro 4 standard, the brand updated its supermoto models with a new frame, new graphics, and an aluminum silencer.
With a chassis directly inspired by the larger SE enduro models, the Sherco 50 SM-R combines the look of a “real” motorcycle with high-level technical features for the 50cc class: a robust, lightweight, stable, and easy-to-ride frame paired with the Minarelli AM6 engine, the most widely used 2-stroke engine in Europe, making this model a solid choice for daily use, maintenance, and tuning.

The stock performance of the Sherco 50 SM-R is limited by homologation. With regular maintenance, performance can be reliably maintained or increased via specific upgrades.
