Back pressure spring? When to change?

The contra spring, also called torque spring, is responsible for ensuring that the V-belt always has the right tension by applying pressure on the rear pulley. If the V-belt slips, you'll have to install a harder contra spring. This can happen when using heavier CVT weights or if the engine has been heavily tuned.
