Wave Brake Disc Stage6 Piaggio / Vespa
Stage6 continuously works on improving products for street and racing use, and this naturally also applies to braking components.
The Stage6 Wave brake disc 200mm is a high-end brake disc built for racing, but also suitable for everyday riding. It fits many Piaggio, Gilera, and Vespa models with the corresponding dimensions, such as:
- Piaggio Zip SP50, Fly 50-150, Free 50-100, Hexagon 125-250
- Gilera Runner VX (rear), DNA (rear), Ice (front)
- Vespa LX 50-125, ET2 / ET4 50-150, Primavera 50-150, S / Sprint 50-150, PX 125-200
- LML Star 125-200
The brake disc is 100% made in Italy and has been tested under real track conditions. It is made entirely from high-quality martensitic steel. This type of steel has a high carbon and chromium content; its main advantage is its high hardenability and hardness, ensuring long service life.
Features of the Stage6 Wave brake disc

Motorcycle and scooter brake disk
The brake disc on the front wheel and / or rear wheel play an essential role in the braking system of motorcycles and scooters.
Brake rotors are firmly attached to the wheel or wheel hub with brake bolts. They work in conjunction with the brake pads, which are pressed onto the brake discs via the brake caliper. This pressure creates the friction that is important for braking, which allows the vehicle to slow down and come to a stop.
When to change the brake rotor?
Brake pads wear out faster than brake discs and need to be replaced regularly. Brake discs, on the other hand, can last between 20,000 and 40,000 kilometers, depending on driving conditions. It is recommended that you monitor brake pad wear and inspect brake rotors for signs of excessive wear or deformation. If you see any sign of damage, the brake disc should be replaced.
No matter if standard, wave or floating - when you install a new brake disc on your scooter or motorcycle, you should also replace the brake pads at the same time. You should securely fasten front or rear brake disc with threadlocker.
