Motorcycle moped and scooter levers
There are levers for brake, clutch, choke and decompressor. Levers sit on the handlebars of the vehicle, and they are available in many colors and different designs.
Brake and clutch levers
There are two levers on motocross bikes and motorcycles:
- Brake lever for the front brake. The lever sits on the throttle grip and is used to operate the front brake.
- Clutch lever. The lever usually sits on the left side of the handlebar at the switch unit or clutch fitting. Pulling the lever engages the clutch when shifting gears.
Lever set on scooters
There are also two levers on scooters:
- Front brakelever: Sits on the throttle grip and is used to operate the front brake.
- Rear brake lever: Sits on the left side of the handlebar and is used to operate the rear brake.
Universal lever sets
There are universal levers and lever sets that attach to a handlebar-mounted fitting or mount. Universal levers allow you to install any lever and make the vehicle roadworthy again, even if you can't find the original parts.
