DellOrto - Premium carburetors since 1933

The company history of Dell'Orto (translated "from the veg garden" :-) goes back to 1933, when Gaetano Dell'Orto founded the company together with his sons. Since then, the brand produces reliable high quality carburetors and fuel injection systems for motorcycles and cars. The company is one of the largest carburator manufacturers in the world and works closely with other big names such as Mikuni and Bosch.

Dell'Orto has the right carburettor for almost every two-wheeler. Various series are specifically designed to meet the requirements of differing applications in order to always achieve the best possible performance. The SHA series is especially suitable for mopeds, the PHVA series is ideal for 50cc scooters and the PHBG carburetors are perfect for tuned engines from 50cc to 80cc. PHBL and VHST carburettors are usually used on maxi scooters and racing engines.

Which DellOrto carb do I need?

We all know the situation. We have a new scooter or moped, made the first laps. And it becomes apparent pretty quickly that we could get a bit more power out of it. One of the first things to replace is the carburetor.

The Dell'Orto PHVA 17.5 mm is a great choice. Or, if all restrictions have already been removed and the scooter was upgraded with a tuning exhaust, there's the Dell'Orto PHBG 19 mm . Cylinder filling will be improved which leads to better combustion and better performance.
