Progrip - Beginnings and development

The renowned brand ProGrip was founded in Cassano, Italy, in 1960. The owner of the Italian factory Plastiche Cassano actually manufactured grips from buffalo horn as early as 1925. After the war, the company specialized in the production of plastics and manufactured buttons for clothing for several years before returning to its original business of making grips. From a capacity of 1000 pairs per day at the time, the manufacturer managed to produce nearly 20,000 pairs per day today. Over time, the brand diversified and now also offers motocross goggles (which can also be used as ski goggles), motorcycle gear and helmets.

ProGrip - Products and projects

In order to offer their customers the best products, ProGrip follows a strictly controlled production process: high quality raw material suppliers (all from Europe), strict quality control of the materials supplied, enough time for each employee to thoroughly check the products after each production step, regular remeasurement of the dimensions during the manufacturing process, all the way from assembly to shipping of the finished product. The quality and performance of the Italian company's motocross grips and goggles are also famous because the products are developed in collaboration with the best riders in the world : ProGrip has been equipping motocross runner-up Antonio Cairoli as well as Romain Febvre and many other professional riders for years.
