Top Performacnes - beginnings and development:

To understand the origins of Top Performances, or Top Perf for short, we need to go back to 1965. The company Motorparts was founded in Italy by a group of Minarelli engineers. Their main job was the production and distribution of original spare parts for Minarelli engines. It was not until the 1990s that the group began to develop their own parts. The aim was and still is to improve the performance, reliability, safety and riding comfort for two-wheelers. Thus, the Italian company entered the world of scooter racing under the name Top Performances. In 1996, the brand even set a speed record for 80 cc scooters at the Nardo racetrack with 159.382 km/h. Over the years, the brand has managed to hold its own despite increasingly fierce competition by developing a range of high-performance and reliable products.

Top Performances - Products and projects

Since the 1990s, Top Performances has continuously developed and expanded their product range. This has resulted in excellent cast iron and aluminium cylinders, crankshafts, exhausts, CVTs, clutches for 50cc motorcycles (with manual transmission) and scooters (with continuously variable transmission), intake systems and more recently high-end crankcases. Top Performances is still one of the main players on the racing scene and designs and manufactures their products in Italy. The factory has even been renovated to create more space for research and development (R&D) and to ensure high quality production.
