The Stage6 R/T brake master cylinder is now available in a new and improved MK2 version. This high-performance radial master cylinder is designed for riders who want precise control and maximum braking power. It is suitable for scooters, mopeds, and 50cc motorcycles.

High-Quality Construction and Stage6 Design

The Stage6 R/T MK2 brake master cylinder is CNC-machined from solid aluminum and then anodized. The ergonomic lever, integrated reservoir, precisely machined surfaces, and laser-engraved Stage6 details give it a high-quality racing look. The complete unit is manufactured in Italy.

Dual-Mode Adjustment: POWER or MODULAR

The main advantage of the Stage6 R/T master cylinder is its integrated eccentric mechanism. It allows for changing the lever ratio, thus adusting the brake response. Two settings are available:

POWER MODE: Faster pressure build-up, maximum braking power, and direct feedback.
MODULAR MODE: A smoother, more progressive braking feel with precise modulation and improved control.

This makes it possible to adapt the braking characteristics to your riding style, different applications such as street or track riding, and dry or wet conditions without having to replace the master cylinder.

Adjustable Ergonomics and 12 mm Piston

The brake lever position can be adjusted continuously to suit different hand sizes and finger lengths. The 12 mm piston provides a balanced combination of braking power, lever feel, and modulation. The MK2 master cylinder is particularly suitable for 4-piston brake calipers and is also compatible with many original brake calipers.

For further improvements in braking performance and pressure point feel, it can be combined with a Stage6 braided steel brake line and DOT 5.1 brake fluid.

El cilindro maestro de freno está directamente conectado con el mando de freno, ya que es el encargado de envíar presión a la pinza cuando se acciona la maneta o el pedal de freno.

Cuando el cilindro maestro está defectuoso, no verá necesariamente ninguna fuga de líquido, pero notará que el freno se vuelve esponjoso y blando, lo que reduce considerablemente la potencia de frenado.

¿Cómo se repara un cilindro maestro?

Para reparar un cilindro maestro de freno, existen kits de reparación que incluyen juntas y todos los materiales necesarios para la reparación en el taller. Estos kits de mantenimiento para su sistema de frenos están disponibles en nuestra tienda.
La bomba de freno debe ser completamente desmontada, separada de la manguera, y todos los clips, circlips y tornillos retirados para obtener las juntas.

Si no encuentra un kit de reparación para su bomba de freno en particular, también puede optar por un cilindro maestro completo original, de competición o universal.

¿Cómo se cambia la bomba de freno?

Para cambiar un cilindro maestro, simplemente sepárelo de la manguera quitando el tornillo Banjo.
Tenga cuidado de no perder las arandelas de cobre, las cuales deben ser revisadas y sustituidas si es necesario, y colocadas a ambos lados del tornillo banjo.
A continuación, deberá abrir el bote, llenarlo de líquido de frenos y purgar el circuito.
