The Chassis - your Vehicle's foundation

The chassis forms the structural base of your two-wheeler, i.e. all parts that connect the wheels or chassis with the frame and engine. In particular, this means the suspension, shock absorbers and fork. A well-functioning shock absorber and smooth-running headsets not only make riding a scooter or moped much more comfortable, but also prevent accidents.

On scooters, the shocks (short for shock absorber), also called struts, are attached to the top of the frame and the bottom of the engine block. On original, untuned set-ups, shock absorbers are usually rather soft to increase riding comfort on the road. We carry original shocks snd also OEM quality shock absorbers from brands like

to restore the original condition of your scooter, motorcycle or moped.

For racing and tuning we offer high quality struts from manufacturers like:

Racing shocks can be adjusted stiffer, so handling becomes more precise, which is a great advantage when driving fast and cornering. With most tuning shock absorbers, spring preload can be adjusted. There are also models where rebound and compression can also be changed. This means that you can adjust your set-up at any time to suit the driver's weight and race track conditions.

Basically, there are three types of shock absorbers: gas, oil and gas-oil, some have an external reservoir.

The fork is the front suspension most two-wheelers. It holds the front wheel and consists of two fork legs and a triple clamp with the steering column. We carry many aftermarket models that replace the original fork in standard quality, for example, from:

Steering Head Bearings

The best fork is of no use if the bearings do not run smoothly. These bearings must always be in perfect condition to ensure safe riding. In our online store you will find the right headsets for most models.
