Description

Stage6 Brake Disc for Aerox

Stage6 is all about refining performance — both for the street and the track. And that includes braking. The 190 mm Stage6 front brake disc is built for MBK Nitro, Yamaha Aerox, and many other scooters. It’s a high-end racing disc that also handles daily riding without compromise.

100% made in Italy and tested under real racing conditions. The disc is made from premium martensitic steel with high carbon and chromium content, offering outstanding hardness and durability for a long service life.

The surface heat treatment is the same as that used on superbikes, allowing track riders to brake consistently and powerfully throughout the entire race.

This disc can also be used as a rear brake disc for Yamaha Aerox — best paired with the Stage6 R/T rear hub , which fits directly without any mods, unlike the OEM hub.

For optimum stopping power we recommend getting new brake pads.

Note: Brake discs can vary depending on model, year, and brake system manufacturer. Always check the dimensions carefully before ordering to avoid mismatches.

Stage6 Brake Disc Highlights:

  • Consistent, high braking performance even in extreme conditions

  • Excellent heat resistance

  • Reduced pad wear

  • Better control and grip when braking in corners

Specifications Stage6 Brake Disc:

  • Outer diameter: 190 mm

  • Inner diameter: 58 mm

  • Mounting: 3-hole

  • Hole diameter: 10 mm

  • Thickness: 4 mm

  • Position: Front or Rear (with Stage6 hub or suitable adapter)

  • Compatible with: Yamaha Aerox, MBK Nitro, Malaguti F12, Aprilia SR50, and many more

Note:
There are 3 screw types for 190 mm / 58 mm / 3-hole discs:

  • 10 mm flat-head screws

  • 8 mm flat-head screws

  • 8 mm countersunk screws

Stage6 designed the disc to work with all three.

If your scooter has 10mm mounting bolts (Yamaha Aerox, MBK Nitro, etc.), you can use the original screws and install the disc plug & play. With the included special screws, the disc can also be mounted on all 8mm bolt models, including Aprilia SR50, Piaggio NRG, Typhoon, Malaguti F12/F15, MBK Mach G, Yamaha Jog, and more.

Notes and Safety

Motorcycle and scooter brake disk

The brake disc on the front wheel and / or rear wheel play an essential role in the braking system of motorcycles and scooters.

Brake rotors are firmly attached to the wheel or wheel hub with brake bolts. They work in conjunction with the brake pads, which are pressed onto the brake discs via the brake caliper. This pressure creates the friction that is important for braking, which allows the vehicle to slow down and come to a stop.

When to change the brake rotor?

Brake pads wear out faster than brake discs and need to be replaced regularly. Brake discs, on the other hand, can last between 20,000 and 40,000 kilometers, depending on driving conditions. It is recommended that you monitor brake pad wear and inspect brake rotors for signs of excessive wear or deformation. If you see any sign of damage, the brake disc should be replaced.

No matter if standard, wave or floating - when you install a new brake disc on your scooter or motorcycle, you should also replace the brake pads at the same time. You should securely fasten front or rear brake disc with threadlocker.
