Cylinder Airsal 80 Tech racing
Airsal Alu Racing 80ccm cylinder kit – a daily-use aluminum cylinder from Spanish manufacturer Airsal, offered here in the Racing version with “Tech Piston” and a high-quality piston from Vertex or Mahle. With a 50mm bore, it delivers a true 78.5ccm. The split exhaust port features slightly higher timing than the Sport version, which gives it even more power at high RPM when paired with a high-revving exhaust system.
Setup for Airsal 80 Racing Kit
We recommend using a reinforced crankshaft. A larger carburetor (at least 17.5 mm) and an exhaust designed for the medium to high RPM range (e.g. the Yasuni R2 / Cross HM or the SCR Corse Handmade) are also recommended. With the right setup, including the correct carburetor settings and squish clearance, you can achieve up to 15 hp with the cylinder.

How to Install a cylinder on a scooter, motorcycle or moped
The cylinder or cylinder kit is the heart of the engine on scooters, motorcycles and mopeds. It consists of a cylinder, a piston with piston ring(s), a cylinder head and gaskets needed for installation.
The service life of a cylinder depends on whether it has been fitted correctly.
Tuning Level: Racing

It is really important to combine parts that belong to the same tuning level, this is especially true for cylinders, crankshafts and exhausts.
Racing products are designed for a more extreme uses and are developed primarily for racing. Whether you stay at 50cc or increase the displacement, the corresponding Racing parts produce much higher performance than the original parts in order to achieve maximum power.
Aluminium cylinders
Aluminium cylinders are more powerful than cast iron cylinders, but require more regular maintenance and must be combined with different components such as a reinforced crankshaft and a larger carburetor.
How to run in an aluminium cylinder?
Aluminium cylinders should be run in for about 200 kilometers , and you should use a fully synthetic engine oil.
Note: To ensure optimum performance and reliability, it is advisable to measure the squish clearance. Just have a look at our tutorial How to adjust squish clearance.

This cylinder will get your front wheel up in 1, 2 & 3rd gear with a lil clutch play (stunt clutch advised) no problem. With my setup and gearing, will be listed below, it tops about 100 kmp. Which no, has not been tested op GPS(idgaf). I genuinly believe that with a heavy gearing this cylinder will push 120-130 kmp, although it would be less fun on enduro models.

Stage6 28mm carb (comes with poweryet which def helps higherup in the rpms)
Yasuni r2 (low powerband for wheelies, when going for top speed consider R3 instead)
Malossi VL6 membrane (barely makes a difference from your stock VL6 membrane)

Airsal gets a lot of hate for being "cheap". I disagree, i think that they are insane for the quality you get, way better than quality to cost ration on brands like malossi or polini. If you wanna learn to wheelie of even go fast on a racer, get this god damn cilinder
