With the Airsal 70cc we can offer you a high-quality aluminum cylinder at the price of normal cast iron cylinders. The cylinders are fitted with a hard-coated chrome-Nicasil bore.
Advantages of aluminum cylinders
The great advantage of aluminum cylinders is that they dissipate heat much better than their cast iron counterparts. The risk of piston jamming is greatly reduced by the properties of the material. Top speed and top performance are not the strengths of the Airsal Alu, but the cylinder offers a smooth torque curve and starts to deliver power very early on, which will certainly make it interesting for some riders.

Works well with original and touring exhausts. In conjunction with a racing exhaust and a carburetor of at least 17.5mm, the cylinder can produce between 7 and 10 hp.

How to run in an aluminium cylinder?
Aluminium cylinders should be run in for about 200 kilometers , and you should use a fully synthetic engine oil.
