Malossi 80cc Aluminium Cylinder Kit MHR Replica Minarelli AM6 - powerful aluminium cylinder kit suited for everyday use. It has a durable chrome/Nikasil-coated bore. Aluminum offers excellent heat dissipation, making it ideal for daily use and sport setups.
Design MHR Replica cylinder
The oval exhaust port delivers strong torque and solid low-end power. Two additional boost ports ensure top-end performance too, resulting in a broad powerband. Depending on the exhaust, peak power comes in between 9,000 and 12,000 rpm. Recommended exhausts: Stage6 Streetrace or similar.
To keep it suitable for regular use, Malossi uses a 2-ring piston. The chrome-Nikasil bore ensures long service life. Power output: 10–14 hp, depending on your setup.

Aluminium cylinders
Aluminium cylinders are more powerful than cast iron cylinders, but require more regular maintenance and must be combined with different components such as a reinforced crankshaft and a larger carburetor.
How to run in an aluminium cylinder?
Aluminium cylinders should be run in for about 200 kilometers , and you should use a fully synthetic engine oil.
Note: To ensure optimum performance and reliability, it is advisable to measure the squish clearance. Just have a look at our tutorial How to adjust squish clearance.
