Description

The perfect road cylinder for supermoto riders: Cylinder Stage6 Sport 50cc MKII Derbi Euro 3 / 4. The motto of these high-quality Stage6 cylinders: simple, powerful and reliable.

It is a 50cc entry-level tuning aluminium cylinder with a highly resistant Nikasil coating. The cylinder was developed for daily use.

Included in the scope of delivery:

    • 50cc cylinder with 40 mm bore, aluminum, 5 transfer ports (intake) and 1 exhaust with boost ports
    • 2-ring piston
    • One-piece aluminum high-compression cylinder head
    • Gasket set (cylinder base and head)

The layout of this cylinder is based on that of its big brother, the Stage6 Big Racing. With the 50mm bore of the Big Racing as a basis, this 50cc cylinder also has large intake ducts and a large cooling volume.

In terms of performance, the Sport MKII is easily at the top of comparable models. The generous intake ports lead to good cylinder filling, and the exhaust with boost ports ensures optimum exhaust flushing. The port timings (118° - 181°) lend themselves to a wide range of applications and guarantee optimized engine characteristics and plenty of riding pleasure over a wide rpm range.

To ensure maximum reliability, Stage6 has opted for a 2-ring piston. The use of such a 2-ring piston slightly impacts performance, but increases the service life of the cylinder considerably. As already mentioned, the design of this cylinder is based on the large Stage6 Big Racing and, like this, has a large-volume cooling system so that the engine can be cooled efficiently while driving.

In order to fully unleash the power of this Stage6 MKII Sport 50cc kit, we recommend combining it with a minimum 21mm carburetor and a Stage6 Streetrace exhaust (or a comparable model). Attention, if your crankshaft has more than 5000 kilometers on it, we recommend replacing it with a new, reinforced crankshaft.

All in all, the ideal cylinder for city and country riding, with plenty of power and good acceleration.

How to Install a cylinder on a scooter, motorcycle or moped

The cylinder or cylinder kit is the heart of the engine on scooters, motorcycles and mopeds. It consists of a cylinder, a piston with piston ring(s), a cylinder head and gaskets needed for installation.

The service life of a cylinder depends on whether it has been fitted correctly.

Tuning Level: Sport

We categorize our products into different performance levels  Original, Sport, Racing and High End , so that our customers can choose the right parts for their setup. It is really important to combine parts that belong to the same tuning level, this is especially true for cylinders, crankshafts and exhausts.

The products listed under Sport yield better performance than Original parts. They may have technical differences, such as the use of higher quality materials, a larger displacement or a performance-enhancing design. They are suitable for everyday use and have a long service life.

Aluminium cylinders

Aluminium cylinders are more powerful than cast iron cylinders, but require more regular maintenance and must be combined with different components such as a reinforced crankshaft and a larger carburetor.

How to run in an aluminium cylinder?

Aluminium cylinders should be run in for about 200 kilometers , and you should use a fully synthetic engine oil.

Bon cylindre
Bon cylindre monté avec un carburateur 24mm, des clapet malossi vl6, filtre a aire watts, embrayage watts carter aligné au cylindre,vilo doppler er1, et pot scr 50/70. Faire gaffe au jeux à la coupe du segment car les mien était a zéro

Marche très fort
Avec juste un pot voca homologué je dit a plus au kit 70 et a certains 80. Marche vraiment fort pour un kit 50 qui n'es pas dans la gamme racing. Marche encore plus fort avec des lamelles de 0.28mm en carbone.
