Low-mount Stage6 R/T 70 - 80 exhaust for Derbi, a high-end exhaust from the 2-stroke tuning specialist Stage6 R/T, specifically designed for tuned Derbi models with 70cc to 80cc displacement such as Derbi Senda, Aprilia SX, Gilera SMT, and many other 50cc geared bikes with Derbi engines.
Stage6 R/T 70 - 80cc Exhaust - Design and Performance
It is a classic racing exhaust made of carefully hand-welded thin 0,8mm steel sheet cones. As is normal for high-end systems, the exhaust has a so-called racing finish, which means the body is unpainted and untreated. We recommend to apply grease spray regularly to avoid premature rusting.
Stage6 R/T designed this exhaust specifically for the Stage6 R/T 70cc cylinder kit for Derbi to exploit the full potential of 70 - 80cc setups. Dyno testing confirms strong performance throughout the entire rpm range, with peak power delivered at high to very high RPM. Ideal for engines designed to rev high and achieve maximum top speed.
The exhaust is the ideal complement for 70cc to 80cc racing and high-end cylinders such as the Stage6 BigRacing 77, Malossi MHR Team, or Metrakit Pro Race.

The Stage6 R/T 70 silencer matches the exhaust perfectly, both visually and technically. Brushed aluminum body, CNC-machined anodized end caps, and precise "S6 R/T" laser engraving provide high-quality workmanship and a great racing look. Its optimized internal construction also offers a noticeable performance gain compared to the previous version of the Stage6 R/T silencer.
For a clean installation, the combination with the Stage6 exhaust clamp is recommended.

The exhaust has a major influence on the performance of scooters and mopeds. By replacing the original with a tuning exhaust, you can improve the gas flow and increase the engine power.

- The headpipe or header is the connection between cylinder and exhaust, and an exhaust gasket provides the necessary seal. In street-legal systems, the headpipe is equipped with a legally required restriction. Some people remove this restrictor to increase power.
- The actual exhaust body or expansion chamber is connected to the header pipe. In a classic 2-stroke expansion chamber type exhaust, gas pressure waves are used to improve engine performance.
- At the end there us the silencer or muffler that discharges the exhaust gases and, with the help of damping wool, also reduces the noise generated by the vehicle.
Replacing the exhaust
As a general rule, please check if the exhausts fits BEFORE REMOVING THE RESTRICTOR, otherwise the exhaust cannot be returned.
For 2-stroke engines, various settings and components usually need to be adjusted when the original exhaust is replaced with a tuning version. These changes include:
- Adjusting the carburetor by replacing the main jet.
- Upgrading the clutch or replacing the clutch springs.
- For scooters, it may be necessary to reduce the weight of the variator weights.
Tuning Level: High End racing

High End Racing products are exclusively designed for racing and should only be handled by tuning pros with the appropriate technical know-how. High-end racing parts often require modifications or machining of certain elements to accommodate the often larger components (larger crank webs, larger intake, etc.). Whether you stick with 50cc or increase the displacement, high-end racing parts offer much higher performance than the original parts and are the most powerful tuning parts.
