Ignition cover AM6 chrome
Str8 cover for the ignition on Minarelli AM6. Suitable for 50cc geared mopeds with Minarelli AM6 engine.
This alternator cover is the perfect replacement for the missing or defective limo cover. It has the same characteristics and dimensions as the original ignition cover, so that no changes need to be made during installation.
Easy installation: simply fit in place of the original cover.

Ignition cover
The ignition cover, or alternator cover, has a relatively simple job: it protects the ignition from moisture and the rider from rotating parts.
Ignition cover and performance
On 50cc motorcycles with AM6 or Derbi engine and scooters, internal rotor ignitions are often combined with an ignition cover with cutouts to prevent the ignition from overheating.
On motocross bikes, plastic ignition covers are often replaced with sturdier aluminum covers.
Note: Always remember to use a new ignition cover gasket.
