For fans of Big Valve kits, we’ve put together a high-performance MXS Racing “High-Flow” intake system for vertical Minarelli engines.
The MXS Racing Big Valve intake kit is ideal for all Racing and high-End cylinders, delivering optimum performance and efficiency when paired with MXS Racing or Sport cylinder kits.
The kit includes a Stage6 Viton AM6 / Derbi reed valve which supplies the engine with mixture very efficiently, resulting in a wider usable RPM range.

- Intake manifold AW 35mm (type PWK)
- Green anodized aluminium base
- Stage6 Viton reed valve
- Hexagon socket screws (8x)
- Aluminum spacer 1.5mm for reed valve
- 1x gasket (paper)

Warning: The reed valve block is supplied with only one gasket, so you may need an additional paper gasket or sealant for proper installation.
Suitable for carburetors with 35mm / 36mm connection

Note: The connection is measured on the carburetor. Rubber mounts are often slightly smaller, as the rubber expands during installation.

The intake on a 2-stroke engine is composed of a series of parts that connect the carburetor or injection unit to the engine. The aim here is to assemble the components in such a way that it leads to a better cylinder filling.
The intake system of a 2-stroke scooter or motorcycle consists of:

- Reed valve
- Sometimes with spacer / socket
What is the benefit of a tuning intake kit?
Generally, installing an optimized intake results in a straighter intake to the engine and increased intake volume to improve mixture flow and engine filling. The reed petals are usually made of fiber or carbon, which improve engine response and peak power.
Note: Installing an intake kit is often necessary when installing a larger carburetor as well as when using a sport air filter. Always remember to check carburetor settings and make sure the system is fully sealed.
