Intake Kit Stage6 R/T 28mm Derbi - complete tuning intake kit for mopeds with Derbi engine.

We assembled this package to save you time and headaches when tuning your intake system. This kit allows upgrading the intake system of your two-wheeler in one go and improve performance noticeably. The components fit together perfectly, so you don't have to worry about anything - just install the parts and you're done.

The installation of a larger carburettor, in this case 28mm, is recommended for tuning measures of all kinds (higher displacement, racing exhaust etc.). The Stage6 R/T PWK carburetor with powerjet improves the engine response and supports even very powerful engines optimally. Note: As this is a racing product, the carburetor has neither vacuum nor oil connection.

The wedge shaped high flow aluminum intake manifold is specially designed for larger carburetors, with improved flow and the option of better, unobstructed air filter placement.

The Stage6 R/T FKM (Viton®) reed valve is the optimal addition for large carburetors. The two-petal block is made of gasoline-resistant material; it seals perfectly and comes with a Venturi Stuffer as well as 2 sets of reed petals (carbon + fiberglass).  

Also included is a HQ 5x9mm fuel hose from Stage6, made of high quality, durable and slow hardening material.

    Intake Kit for scooter, motorcycle and moped

    The intake on a 2-stroke engine is composed of a series of parts that connect the carburetor or injection unit to the engine. The aim here is to assemble the components in such a way that it leads to a better cylinder filling.

    The intake system of a 2-stroke scooter or motorcycle consists of:

    • Intake manifold
    • Reed valve
    • Sometimes with spacer / socket

    What is the benefit of a tuning intake kit?

    Generally, installing an optimized intake results in a straighter intake to the engine and increased intake volume to improve mixture flow and engine filling. The reed petals are usually made of fiber or carbon, which improve engine response and peak power.

    Note: Installing an intake kit is often necessary when installing a larger carburetor as well as when using a sport air filter. Always remember to check carburetor settings and make sure the system is fully sealed.
