If you have lost your keys or the lock is defective, this original replacement lock kit for MBK Nitro / Aerox from 2003 onwards is the ideal solution. The complete set is easy to fit and enables quick replacement without any specialist knowledge.

Ignition lock function
On a motorcycle or scooter, an ignition switch can have several functions. The most important one is, of course, opening and closing the circuit via the spark plug so the engine will run. In doing so, the ignition lock also activates the 12-volt voltage to power the speedometer, vehicle lights and other electrical instruments. In some cases, the lock is combined with a handlebar lock to protect against theft.
If you want to convert your motorcycle into a racer, remove certain functions and simplify the wiring harness, you can replace the ignition lock with a killswitch.
