Triple clamp CNC Stage6 R/T Yamaha Aerox
Description
Stage6 R/T MK2 CNC aluminum Triple Clamp Aerox
The Stage6 triple clamp in its MK2 version - a one-piecse CNC-machined triple clamp designed for Yamaha Aerox / MBK Nitro before 2004. It provides a significant upgrade over the stock cast clamp, offering maximum precision, increased rigidity, and a high-end racing look at the front of the scooter.
Design Stage6 R/T Triple tree
CNC-machined from high-strength aluminum, this triple clamp combines precision, rigidity, and low weight, with consistent quality even under intensive use. It features a unique adaptable system that accepts both 30 mm and 33 mm fork tubes using the included reduction bushings. The combination of a hard-anodized finish and a cataphoresis-coated (KTL) black steering tube ensures long-term protection against wear and corrosion.
Fitment and Installation Stage6 MK2 Triple Clamp
The Stage6 MK2 triple clamp for Yamaha Aerox installs as a direct replacement for the original clamp with 30 mm fork tubes, or in combination with the Stage6 R/T fork tubes Yamaha Aerox. On MBK Nitro and Yamaha Aerox until 2004, installation is plug-and-play. On other models, such as the Yamaha BW's / MBK Booster after 2004, front wheel alignment adjustment using spacers may be required.
It also remains compatible with previous-generation Stage6 33 mm fork tubes and can be installed without issue.
Features Stage6 R/T MK2 Triple Clamp:
- Materials: High-strength CNC-machined aluminum with hard-anodized clamping areas and KTL-coated steel sterrtube
- Racing finish: Visual contrast with signature orange ring + laser-etched Stage6 logo
- Safety markings: Laser-engraved torque specifications at each clamping point for precise installation
- Integrated steering stops: Built-in safety feature to limit excessive handlebar rotation during extreme riding or in case of a crash
- Fork diameter: 30 mm (with bushings) or 33 mm (direct)
- Steering column diameter: 27 mm
- Installation: Plug-and-play, compatible with Stage6 R/T fork tubes

Triple clamp
The triple clamp, or tree clamp, is a part of scooter and motorcycle forks. It connects the fork legs and the frame, provides for the mobility of the steering and takes the fork tubes as well as the handlebar.
It is not a wear part, nevertheless the triple clamp can be damaged in an accident, or you want to replace the original with a tuning part to improve handling and performance.
Triple clamps for scooters and 50cc motorcycles
On scooters, the original triple clamp is often made of relatively heavy steel. Racing triple clamps are often made of lightweight aluminum, which improves the weight to performance ratio of the machine. The stiffness can also be changed to make the handling more precise.
Motocross triple clamp
On motocross motorcycles , the stock triple clamp is usually made of ligtweight, high performance aluminum from the start. However, it is possible to opt for a triple clamp with a different offset. This allows the caster angle of the motorcycle to be changed to achieve more maneuverability (smaller offset) or more stability (larger offset).
The upper triple clamp in some cases also has two or three mounting positions for the handlebar clamps, allowing the handlebar to be positioned more or less forward and the "seat triangle" to be increased. This makes it easy to adjust the bike to the rider's height.
