Voltage Regulator Piaggio / Vespa. Voltage regulators / rectifiers change the AC voltage generated by the alternator to the 12V DC voltage used in the electrical system of the vehicle and maintains a constant voltage level. The battery is charged and ensures that bulbs do not burn out or start to flicker.
