Rear Brake Adapter Functions
This CNC adapter enables converting from an original drum brake to a disc brake setup. It mounts directly onto the original drum brake mounting points. It can also be used on models originally equipped with a disc brake; however, extensive modifications are required because the adapter does not mount to the original caliper mount, but rather to the drum brake mounting points cast into the crankcase from the factory even on disc brake engines.
The adapter subsequently allows installing the Stage6 R/T 4-piston brake caliper to replace and upgrade the original braking system.
A must-have for anyone looking to replace their drum brake with a higher-performance disc brake and combine it with a powerful 4-piston caliper.
Installing the Stage6 R/T Brake Caliper Adapter
Installation requires modifications to the engine case and mounting points. This is not a plug-and-play adapter. A certain level of technical know-how is therefore essential, or the scooter should be taken to a professional workshop. In addition, the wheel hub, brake disc, and wheel rim from a disc-brake Minarelli scooter must be used.

Brake caliper adapter
The caliper adapter holds the caliper and brings it to a distance to the brake disc that is suitable for the respective vehicle model.
If you replace your caliper with a different model, such as a 2- or 4-piston tuning caliper, you will also need a matching adapter.
If you replace your brake disc with an oversize disc, you will also need to replace the adapter to fit the caliper to the new diameter.
To ensure that all parts are compatible, you can also buy a complete brake kit.
