Crankshaft Bearings plastic cage Stage6 R/T with Oil Seals

Especially in high-performance engines, the quality of crankshaft bearings and oil seals is crucial. Stage6 has upgraded their kits by pairing their already top-tier SKF bearings with bold orange FKM oil seals from the Stage6 R/T line – great look, even better performance.

Fits Derbi Euro 2 / 3 / 4, please check dimensions before ordering.

Crankshaft Bearing Types

The bearings are available in 2 versions

- Polymer cage – designed for racing use. The polymer version offers more flexibility and reduced friction compared to metal cages.
- Metal cage – built for daily street use. More durable than the polymer version, ideal for long-term loads.

Both types are SKF-approved for speeds up to 20,000 RPM. Proper lubrication and correct installation are essential for longevity.

The advantages with the polymer-plastic version compared to metal cages are increased elasticity and reduced friction. We personally this type of bearing for racing engines, but you'll have to pay some attention to carburetor and ignition settings, as the bearings may only be permanently heated to a maximum of 120° to prevent damage to the plastic cage. 

Attention! The polymer cage version should only be installed on engines without a catalytic converter!

Please pay attention when installing the bearings: The half-open side must face the crankshaft webs.

The newly developed orange FKM oil seals are produced using cutting-edge technology. Compared to older models, they offer longer lifespan and reduced friction for better overall engine efficiency.

Crankshaft bearings for motorcycle, scooter and moped

Crankshaft bearings ensure the smooth operation of engines, whether on scooters, motorcycles or mopeds. The crankshaft is an integral part of the engine and the associated bearings and seals must be in perfect condition.

A crankshaft bearing set consists of ball bearings and oil seals. They are usually sold as a complete set and must be replaced each time the crankshaft is installed/re-installed.

What are the symptoms of defective crankshaft bearings?

The main symptoms of a defective crankshaft bearing are:

  • Unusual metallic noises coming from the direction of the crankshaft.
  • Unusual vibrations of the vehicle.

Defective bearings must be replaced immediately, otherwise there is risk of further damage to the engine. There are many different tools for crankshaft removal or bearing pullers.
