CVT Polini Hi Speed Peugeot vertical
Since 2015, Polini has been offering its Hi-Speed CVT as the successor to the Speed Control CVTs. In contrast to the oversize models, which are also widely used, this is a "standard" model and can be used with the original rear pulley and standard V-belt.
Polini has used its many years of experience and considerable know-how to develop a variator which, compared to the standard variator, improves performance considerably, with stable power transmission and improved acceleration across the entire speed range. Your scooter revs more aggressively and achieves a higher top speed.
The Polini Hi-Speed Vario fits perfectly with a Sport or even Racing type engine configuration.

Polini Hi-Speed
The famous Polini brand lists their "Hi-Speed" CVT as part of their catalog for many years. Of course, the CVT has been upgraded and improved over time, but the basic principle is still the same: a tuning variator for original and slightly tuned engines with a noticeable increase in performance compared to the original variator.
Performance Polini High Speed CVT
With newly calculated and optimized angles, the Hi-Speed variator allows an extended power band. This shows above all in noticeably better acceleration, but also in a slightly higher top speed.
Two integrated O-rings provide the sleeve with better lubrication, resulting in less friction.
The low-friction, robust chrome coating ensures reduced wear and increased service life.
For heavily tuned engines and engines with a significantly larger displacement, it is worth using an overrange CVT.

The different types of CVT kits
- CVT kit original: these kits contain OEM quality CVT components, the CVT transmission can be reset to the original condition.
- CVT kit Sport: Sport transmissions differ from OEM transmissons by a lighter variator, a modified angle and a special lining aimed at improving top speed as well as acceleration. In most cases the kits come with a reinforced belt.
- CVT kit Overrange / Oversize: Oversize kits have the same improvements as the Sport variants, but are also characterized by larger dimensions and are used with a longer oversize V-belt. This configuration improves the performance of your scooter quite a bit.
To simplify the installation of a new CVT, we strongly recommend the use of appropriate tools, especially a piston stopper, which is very practical for the removal and installation of a CVT transmission.
