Intake Kit Stage6 28mm Minarelli - complete tuning intake kit for Minarelli scooters with carburetor mounting above the rear wheel. In addition to various performance-enhancing elements, the kit also includes the subframe holder required for the conversion.

We’ve put together this high-end tuning kit to save you time and effort when upgrading your intake system. With this setup, you can completely renew your scooter’s intake system and noticeably improve performance. All components fit perfectly together — just install the parts and you’re ready to go.

Stage6 Racing Intake

Installing a larger carburetor, in this case a 28 mm model, is recommended for any tuning project (more displacement, racing exhaust, etc.). The Stage6 R/T PWK carburetor with Powerjet improves throttle response and supports even the most powerful engine setups.

Note: As a racing component, the carburetor has no vacuum or oil connection.

The Stage6 subframe allows mounting the carburator directly above the rear wheel. The advantages: a much better and smoother cornering when changing throttle load as well as better throttle response and peak power due to a straight intake manifold.

The CNC-machined Stage6 R/T intake manifold + spacer is designed for direct mounting of flat slide carburators towards the rear wheel without the carburettor being too slanted. The special flow-optimized bore through the intake manifold and spacer improves the flow.

The Stage6 R/T FKM (Viton®) reed valve is the perfect addition for large carburettors. The two-petal reed block made of petrol-resistant material seals perfectly and comes with Venturi stuffers as well as 2 sets of reed petals (carbon + glass fibre).

A high-performance open air filter is, of course, part of the kit. We’ve included a large black Stage6 Double Layer Racing filter whose dual-foam structure offers maximum airflow and excellent filtration.

Also included is a HQ 5x9mm fuel hose from Stage6, made of high quality, durable and slow hardening material.

Note: by mounting the carburetor and air filter to the rear, the rear of your scooter must be slightly modified.

Intake Kit for scooter, motorcycle and moped

The intake on a 2-stroke engine is composed of a series of parts that connect the carburetor or injection unit to the engine. The aim here is to assemble the components in such a way that it leads to a better cylinder filling.

The intake system of a 2-stroke scooter or motorcycle consists of:

Intake manifold
Reed valve
Sometimes with spacer / socket

What is the benefit of a tuning intake kit?

Generally, installing an optimized intake results in a straighter intake to the engine and increased intake volume to improve mixture flow and engine filling. The reed petals are usually made of fiber or carbon, which improve engine response and peak power.

Note: Installing an intake kit is often necessary when installing a larger carburetor as well as when using a sport air filter. Always remember to check carburetor settings and make sure the system is fully sealed.
