Secondary gears Top Performances Minarelli long

Top Performances Secondary Transmission 16/41 MBK Nitro / Booster to extend the gearing and increase top end speed. A close-gear ratio improves top speed. As a matter of course, this kind of transmission requires a powerful engine to pull it.

The gears are pre-pressed and ready to install. Compatible with primary gears with 13 teeth, suitable for long Minarelli engines.

Gear ratio 1:2.56

Note: There are different versions of the intermediate gear pair in stock transmissions. This set fits if the small gear on the intermediate shaft has 13 teeth — make sure to count!

Scooter gearbox

The transmission of scooters and some mopeds is located in a case behind the clutch and torque driver and has the function of reducing rpm and ultimately driving the wheel axle.

The transmission of a scooter has a direct influence on top speed. If the engine develops enough power and torque at low rpm, you can choose a longer gear ratio to achieve a higher top speed without any noticeable loss in acceleration.

Please note: if you don't have a press, better choose pre-assembled gears!
