The cylinder - the heart of the engine

The cylinder with piston and cylinder head is the heart of an engine. The piston stroke generated in the cylinder produces a rotary motion via the crankshaft, which is ultimately transmitted to the wheel and thus causes the two-wheeler to move. In combination with and with the help of the other components important for the function of the engine, such as the crankshaft, carburetor, intake system, transmission, ignition and exhaust, the cylinder performs the 2-stroke movement. In the first step, compression and combustion of the fuel-air mixture takes place. In the second step, the exhaust gases produced during combustion escape and pre-compressed fresh gas is drawn in. Bore (inner diameter of the piston track) and stroke (distance between top and bottom dead center) are the parameters that ultimately determine the displacement of an engine.

Major brands such as Motoforce, MXS Racing, Stage6, Top Performances, Bidalot, Airsal, Polini, Metrakit and 2Fast produce cylinders with displacements ranging from 50cc to 90cc.

Since cylinders are among the most relevant components, we carry an extremely wide selection of cylinders in all price ranges, for a hige variety of engines and for every conceivable application. The kits are always supplied with piston, piston ring(s) and circlips and usually also with cylinder head and the gaskets required for installation.

We sell OEM quality 50cc cylinders that replace the original cylinder fitted by the manufacturer as standard, normally with a slight increase in power. These kits are street-legal and can be used legally on public roads. The 49cc cylinders offer excellent value for money.

For all riders who need more power, we can offer Sport, Racing or High-End cylinders in cast iron or aluminum. Tuning cylinders are available in every price range from many different manufacturers:

In our catalog you will of course also find extremely powerful cylinders 70ccm and even higher, which are clearly intended for racing. Outside of race tracks you better not be seen with these extremely powerful kits!

Our cylinders are available for (almost) all scooters, mopeds and 50cc motorcycles / supermotos available on the market, no matter if it is an older or a brand new model.
