We’ve put together this high-end tuning kit to save you time and effort when upgrading your intake system. With this setup, you can completely renew your scooter’s intake system and noticeably improve performance. All components fit perfectly together — just install the parts and you’re ready to go.

Stage6 Racing Intake

Installing a larger carburetor, in this case a 28 mm model, is recommended for any tuning project (more displacement, racing exhaust, etc.). The Stage6 R/T PWK carburetor with Powerjet improves throttle response and supports even the most powerful engine setups. Note: As a racing component, the carburetor has no vacuum or oil connection.

The CNC-machined Stage6 R/T intake manifold and spacer are designed for direct rear-facing mounting of flat-slide carburetors without excessive tilt. The specially shaped internal channel provides optimized flow through the manifold and spacer for improved performance.

The Stage6 R/T FKM (Viton®) reed valve is the ideal complement for large carburetors. The dual-petal design made from fuel-resistant material ensures a perfect seal and comes with Venturi stuffers plus two sets of reed petals (carbon and fiberglass).

A high-performance open air filter is, of course, part of the kit. We’ve included a large black Stage6 Double Layer Racing filter whose dual-foam structure offers maximum airflow and excellent filtration.

Also included is a Stage6 HQ 5×9 mm fuel hose made from high-quality, durable material that resists hardening over time.

Intake Kit for scooter, motorcycle and moped

The intake on a 2-stroke engine is composed of a series of parts that connect the carburetor or injection unit to the engine. The aim here is to assemble the components in such a way that it leads to a better cylinder filling.

The intake system of a 2-stroke scooter or motorcycle consists of:

Intake manifold
Reed valve
Sometimes with spacer / socket

What is the benefit of a tuning intake kit?

Generally, installing an optimized intake results in a straighter intake to the engine and increased intake volume to improve mixture flow and engine filling. The reed petals are usually made of fiber or carbon, which improve engine response and peak power.

Note: Installing an intake kit is often necessary when installing a larger carburetor as well as when using a sport air filter. Always remember to check carburetor settings and make sure the system is fully sealed.
