Ignition cover Malossi MHR C-One

Replacement ignition cover for the C-One and RC-One tuning crankcases from Malossi MHR.

Replacement for the high-quality, bright red ignition cover included in the C-One and RC-One crankcase kits. Like all other components of the C-One / RC-One kits, the cover is of a particularly high quality and cannot simply be replaced by any other ignition cover.

The ignition cover fits all C-One / RC-One kits (Piaggio & Minarelli, basic version & 94cc / 100cc versions).

Malossi MHR

The MHR series from Malossi is generally available in 3 categories for the most popular models:

The 3 model series differ in terms of performance and competitiveness. The MHR Team series includes the top-of-the-line  models with outstanding performance for racing. The MHR Racing is in the middle, and the MHR Replica adopts the basic features of the higher versions, with the emphasis on reliability for everyday use rather than maximum performance for the race track.

Ignition cover

The ignition cover, or alternator cover, has a relatively simple job: it protects the ignition from moisture and the rider from rotating parts.

Ignition cover and performance

On 50cc motorcycles with AM6 or Derbi engine and scooters, internal rotor ignitions are often combined with an ignition cover with cutouts to prevent the ignition from overheating.

On motocross bikes, plastic ignition covers are often replaced with sturdier aluminum covers.

Note: Always remember to use a new ignition cover gasket.
