Description
Clutch kit Stage6 Torque Control MK2 Piaggio / Peugeot
The popular Stage6 Torque Control clutch is now also available as a set with the perfectly matching CNC clutch bell and suitable hard clutch springs. The Torque Control MK2 is the improved version of the very successful Stage6 Torque Control clutch, with reinforced back plate, enlarged friction pads and slightly heavier clutch shoes. Clutch, bell and springs are perfectly matched, an ideal kit for performance-oriented racing / tuning setups.
The Stage6 R/T CNC clutch bell - Type 433g is likely one of the best clutch bells available. The bell is manufactured from a single piece using CNC technology, unlike most bells which are pressed, resulting in unmatched precision. The cooling ring is machined directly into the bell instead of being shrink-fitted as on conventional bells. Two holes in the cooling ring allow clutch adjustment without removing the bell. In addition, there are two recesses in the cooling ring that provide the necessary grip for the appropriate tool to lock the clutch bell.
Also included is 1 additional set of hard clutch springs (red) for the Torque Control. The springs are also available separately, so springs with a different stiffness can be ordered if needed. Red - hard, for racing and high-end setups.
Adjusting Stage6 Torque Control clutch
The advantage of this clutch is that the springs can be adjusted and replaced without having to disassemble the entire unit.
The springs are held by screws, which can be tightened or loosened through the pre-formed holes of the Stage6 R/T clutch bell. If the clutch is used with a different clutch bell, the bell must be removed, but the clutch itself does not need to be removed from the torque driver. The scale on the adjustment screws for continuous spring preload allows each spring to be set precisely.
Additional weights Stage6 Torque Control clutch
The Stage6 Torque Control MK2 clutch allows adding weights to influence not only the engagement RPM, but also the aggressiveness of engagement. On racing scooters, a smoother engagement is preferred for optimal acceleration in lean, while for fun setups, a more aggressive engagement is used to enable wheelies. Both can be achieved with the Torque Control. The heavier the weights and the further outward they are placed, the more aggressively the clutch engages.
The Stage6 Torque Control MK2 clutch provides strong grip and excellent acceleration.
Clutch springs Stage6 Torque Control clutch
The choice of clutch spring depends on the cylinder and setup. White springs are recommended for sport cylinders, orange springs for racing cylinders and optionally available red springs for high-end cylinders. For very high-performance engines, a weight set is also available to further increase the weight of the clutch shoes.

Clutch kit
The proper functioning of the clutch is essential for the smooth operation of scooters, mopeds and motorcycles.
clutch kit for motorcycles
A clutch kit usually consists of friction plates that are coated with sintered metal or aramid fibers, plain steel discs and clutch springs. The friction material of the clutch discs is designed for high loads due to heat and wear to ensure optimum adhesion at all times.
For lubrication of all clutch components, we recommend using 2-stroke gear oil or 4-stroke oil. The oils not only lubricate, but also dissipate the heat generated by friction and help reduce premature wear of the clutch plates.
Clutch kit for scooters
Clutch kits for scooters usually include the actual clutch, clutch bell and clutch springs. The clutch bell works synergistically with the clutch to form a single unit.
Various special tools are available for mounting and dismounting a scooter clutch.
