Filtre à air racing, sport ou d'origine ?

En général, plus on augmente la cylindrée d'un moteur, et plus le volume d'air apporté doit être important. C'est pourquoi pour les plus gros kit cylindre, il est recommandé d'opter pour un filtre à air tuning à fixer directement sur le carburateur, ou bien d'utiliser une boite à air plus volumineuse comme les boite à air type karting.
Si on n'augmente pas la cylindrée, on peut tout de même améliorer la filtration en remplaçant le filtre d'origine par un filtre sport, généralement à double densité de mousse.

ATTENTION ! Si vous passez d'un filtre à air standard (dans une boite à air) à un filtre type cornet, il faudra régler votre carburateur !
